Riflessi ( Reflections )

Forse più di uno specchio, l’acqua del mare riesce a riflettere le nostre emozioni, il nostro stato d’animo, il nostro vero essere e a far scomparire la finzione di ciò che vorremmo apparire agli occhi degli altri. Il mare ha questa capacità di farci sentire ciò che siamo veramente: immersi nella sua immensità e nei suoi silenzi finalmente siamo noi stessi.
La luce del flash raccoglie i colori e la macchina fotografica li restituisce concettualizzando uno stato d’animo o un pensiero, le foto presenti in questo segmento sono il risultato di uno studio appassionato e approfondito sulla riflessione della luce a pelo d’acqua.

Maybe more than a mirror, sea water can express our feelings in a way that a mirror cannot, our frame of mind, our real essence and it can vanish the pretence of how we would like to appear to others. Sea has this ability to make us feel what we really are: we are utterly ourselves when we plunge ourselves in its immensity and in its silence. The flash light catches every colours and the camera gives them back arousing a state of mind or a thought. The pictures in this section are the result of a deepened and heart-felt study of the reflection of the light on the water’s surface.
