Nato il 1° febbraio 1966 a Siracusa, la “Città della Luce”, dove abita e lavora. “Nettuno” per gli amici, vuoi per una certa somiglianza vuoi per la simbiosi con il mare della sua
“siracusitudine”, dopo gli studi in ambito umanistico, nel 2003 inizia a interessarsi di fotografia per poi rivolgere la propria attenzione professionale e artistica a tutto ciò che riguarda le
attività subacquee e la fotografia concettuale in mare.
Fotografo freelance; istruttore di corsi subacquei e in apnea, gestisce un proprio Diving
Center associato alla FIPSAS (Federazione Italiana Pesca Sortiva e Attività Subacquee).
È stato direttore artistico del Concorso Internazionale di fotografia subacquea “Città di
Trieste” per diverse annualità e altrettante edizioni. Collabora da alcuni anni con le Istituzioni scolastiche per diffondere la cultura e l’amore per il mare, insegnare le tecniche d’immersione subacquea e contribuire ad accrescere le competenze della fotografia concettuale e artistica fra i giovani studenti.
Dal 2011 ha partecipato a moltissimi eventi artistici nazionali e internazionali sulle fotografie subacquee riscuotendo vasti apprezzamenti e vincendo numerosi premi.

Was born on 1 February 1966 in Syracuse, the 'City of Light', where he lives and works. "Neptune" to his friends, both for his evocative resemblance with the god of the sea and for his symbiosis with the underwater world. He is deeply rooted in his town’s culture and traditions.
After his Humanities studies, in 2003 he began to develop his interest in photography and then turned his professional and artistic attention to everything related to the underwater
activities and conceptual photography of the sea.
Freelance photographer, diving and apnea instructor, he runs his own Underwater Centre associated with FIPSAS (Italian Federation of Sport Fishing and Underwater Activities).
He was artistic director of the International Underwater Photography Competition 'City of Trieste' for many editions.
For several years he has been collaborating with schools in order to spread the culture and love for the sea, to teach diving techniques and help young students to develop and improve conceptual and artistic photography skills.
Since 2011 he has been taking part to many national and international events and contests about underwater artistic photography, receiving wide acclamation and winning numerous awards.
